Sustainability strategy
Our commitment to sustainability
Our commitment to sustainability permeates all aspects of our actions and our products. From manufacturing to disposal, we attach the greatest importance to environmental friendliness and protection of resources.
By using materials that guarantee effective thermal insulation and are 100 % recyclable, we are actively contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions and are promoting a sustainable closed-loop economy. This enables not only ecological but also economic sustainability, as we are minimising the consumption of natural resources.
We also rely on reversible installation methods to increase the service life of our products and reduce the need for new acquisitions. This means not only cost savings for our customers but also a reduction in our ecological footprint.

Sustainable materials
Recycling and reversibility for a green future
There are many further advantages here. At the end of the product’s service life, for example, the material can be 100 % recycled. The EPS granulate obtained through this process can be used to create new EPS products, and the cycle is closed. Should the window element have to be replaced, costly destruction of the façade and subsequent insulation are not necessary as window installation in our pre-wall installation system is reversible. The window elements are easily replaced from inside and the façade remains intact. This saves not only time and money, but also raw materials, energy and ultimately also CO2.
Highest quality
Premium living space quality
The quality of the living space is also of particular concern to us, and naturally to you as well. For this reason it was important to us that many of our products not only have the highest EMICODE standard EC1PLUS, but were also classified in the highest quality level 4 by prestigious bodies such as the DGNB and thus can be processed without any concerns.
EMICODE® EC1PLUS is currently the strictest quality label for low-emission construction products. The licensed products were checked regularly by independent, internationally recognised testing institutes.

The DGNB navigator
What is the DGNB navigator?
The DGNB navigator is a digital tool that was developed by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). It serves as the central platform for assessing construction products with regard to their sustainability and their technical properties and for making it easier to use them in sustainable construction projects. By providing transparent and structured information, the navigator supports planners, architects and builders in the selection of suitable materials for sustainable construction projects.
Functions and benefits
The DGNB navigator offers a number of functions that simplify the planning and construction process:
- Product database: The navigator contains a comprehensive collection of construction products that can be filtered according to specific criteria. Users can perform targeted searches for products that meet certain environmental standards, for example, or are particularly energy efficient.
- Sustainability assessment: Manufacturers can upload the life cycle assessment data of their products and relevant certificates. This information helps to assess the environmental effects of a product across its entire lifecycle.
- Integration in the DGNB certification system: Products in the navigator are linked with the criteria of the DGNB certification system. This makes it easier to select products that contribute to the achievement of certain certification requirements.
- Transparency and comparability: All information is clearly structured and uniformly prepared. This makes it easy to compare products from different manufacturers.
- Support of the communication: The navigator functions as an interface between manufacturers and users, where cooperation and exchange of information is promoted.
Target groups
The DGNB navigator focuses on various actors in the construction and real estate industry:
- Architects and planners: They benefit from an easy opportunity to integrate sustainable materials into their designs.
- Builders and investors: The navigator helps to make informed decisions about the material selection and to support the sustainability goals of a project.
- Manufacturers of construction products: They can present their products to a broad audience and highlight their sustainability aspects.
How does the DGNB navigator work?
The DGNB navigator is easy to use. Users can sign up for free and then browse the product database. Manufacturers upload their product information via a standardised format that guarantees a uniform presentation of the data.
The platform also makes it possible to link the product data to the sustainability requirements of the DGNB certification system. This guarantees that all stored information is tailored to the criteria for sustainable construction.
Why is the DGNB navigator important?
In times of increasing awareness about environmental and climate protection, the selection of the right construction products plays a key role. The DGNB navigator offers an important orientation aid here. It creates transparency in an often-complex market and supports sustainable decisions that offer both ecological and economic benefits.
The navigator also promotes dialogue between manufacturers and users, which contributes to the further development and distribution of sustainable construction products. It thus makes an important contribution to the transformation of the construction and real estate industry toward more sustainability.
