2C Assembly Foam Easysystem

blaugelb 2C Assembly Foam Easysystem Class E is a two-component PU assembly bonding foam that hardens without moisture thanks to its special recipe. This means that the substrate and the applied foam layer do not have to be specially moistened.

Curing occurs very rapidly due to the reaction of the two components. Spacers must be used for at least 30 minutes. No additional mechanical attachment is required in the assembly of internal doors. Outer doors and window frames must be additionally mechanically attached for safety purposes, however, as per the building codes.

One can of blaugelb 2C Assembly Foam Easysystem Class E is sufficient for the assembly of 2 to 3 internal door cases, depending on the gap width. The handy rotary applicator mechanism allows corrective activation of the blaugelb 2C Assembly Foam Easysystem Class E without the excessive use of force. Once cured, the foam is quite hard, predominantly closed, rot-proof and non-ageing, though not if exposed to UV radiation.

Outstanding adhesion to all standard construction substrates (except polyethylene, silicone, oils, greases, mould release agents or similar materials. Carry out suitable pretests).

Applications: Bonding – Filling – Insulating – Sealing. For the assembly of internal doors and the filling and insulation sealing of connecting joints in outer door cases, windows and roller shutter cases (not for assembly without any additional mechanical attachment). Suitable for the attachment of wooden door cases and metal frames (follow the manufacturer's installation instructions). The maximum joint width for the assembly of door frames is 30 mm. Can be used for the assembly and sound insulation of bathtubs and shower trays in the sanitary sector.
