Transport pad XPS
The blaugelb transport pads XPS protect sensitive surfaces and fragile goods against damage during transport. They are made of robust XPS foam, which even absorbs larger compression loads thanks to its special cell structure. XPS is an extruded polystyrene hard foam that has been used in diverse areas of the construction industry for over 50 years. XPS is made of polystyrene granules that are melted in an extruder and formed into sheets with the addition of blowing agents. The foam has a homogeneous structure, is closed-cell, water-repellent, highly compression-resistant and still elastic, has good thermal insulation properties and is rotproof and recyclable.
The blaugelb transport pads XPS are available in different thicknesses, individually cut. They are also available with a felt layer to protect particularly sensitive surfaces. The blaugelb transport pads XPS are used to maintain the distance between individual goods so that damage caused by abrasion, blows or scratches is avoided. In the case of window components, for example, the blaugelb transport pads XPS are bonded to the glass with the corresponding dimension so that the profiles cannot make contact with one another when stacked or in the transport racks.
