Window Sill Screw
The blaugelb Window Sill Screw has been specially designed for fastening aluminium window sills. It is suitable for aluminium window sills with a standard edge screw channel of 25 mm and can be used with both traditional sill connection profiles and highly insulated systems, such as the blaugelb Sill Connection Profile EPS. This ensures a secure and consistently reliable fastening for a wide variety of connection solutions.
A distinctive feature of the screw is its specially designed thread. Unlike conventional metal or wooden screw threads, it features an extra-deep, coarse-pitch thread which ensures an exceptionally secure hold, particularly in highly compressed insulation materials and the materials used in modern sill connection profiles. The large threaded surface optimally transfers any forces that arise into the substrate, thereby ensuring a fastening that can withstand long-term loads.
The pressed-in stainless steel screw ensures consistent and permanently secure contact pressure between the aluminium window sill and the sill connection profile. Thanks to its high-quality stainless steel design, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and provides reliable protection against rust. The Torx 20 drive also allows the bit to be positioned precisely, reduces slippage during assembly and thus minimises the risk of damage to the surface of the window sill.
To ensure a harmonious appearance, the blaugelb Window Sill Screw is available in stainless steel as well as in the colours RAL 9016 (traffic white), RAL 7016 matt (anthracite grey) and RAL 9005 matt (jet black). The colour versions feature a high-quality powder-coated finish and boast a durable surface that is highly resistant to weathering and mechanical stress.
