PE Round Cord
blaugelb PE Round Cord is used for backfilling expansion joints in windows and doors, e.g. connection joints, profiled glass seals, etc. The elastic, closed-cell polyethylene foam is waterproof, making the round cord a suitable sealing material for indoor and outdoor use. The PE foam is dimensionally stable, rot-proof, and does not contain any halogenated hydrocarbons.
blaugelb PE round cord is compatible with common sealants and prevents the so-called three-flank adhesion of the sealants in the joint. This permanently seals the joint and prevents draughts and heat loss.
Applications:
Filling – Insulating – Sealing: In window construction for backfilling and insulating sealing of construction expansion joints, as a pre-filler for joint sealing and in expansion joints. Use in connection joints for windows and doors as well as in profiled glass seals. Use in external joints of façades, in internal joints, in joints of parquet and other floor coverings, and in sealing joints of structures (e.g. dams).
