Weatherboarding TBS AD/MD ROUND
The blaugelb Weatherboarding TBS AD/MD ROUND is made from high-quality anodised aluminium E6/C-0 (EV1). This profile is designed for inward-opening French windows and front doors made of PVC, timber, metal and composite materials. The rounded edge on the weather side is particularly suitable for profile systems with a Softline finish.
Endcaps ensure a neat finish on single- and double-sash units. The blaugelb Weatherboarding TBS AD/MD ROUND ensures that the blaugelb Threshold System TBS offers excellent protection against driving rain and is burglar-resistant. It already diverts surface water away from the unit and, in combination with the brush or lip seal, ensures that surface water drains away without any problems.
Thanks to its design, blaugelb Weatherboarding prevents water penetration even if there is an elevated pressure difference between outside and inside. Using blaugelb Weatherboarding on a sash profile for a door or window element acting in conjunction with a threshold element makes it possible to achieve a contactless, no-wear seal. The airflow penetrating from outside between the sash profile and the weatherboarding on the one hand and the threshold structure on the other hand is disrupted at the inner web of the weatherboarding. This reduces the inward airflow, with the result that less moisture passes into the interior. The blaugelb Weatherboarding AD/MD ROUND can be selected with between 3 and a maximum of 6 seating grooves for the optimum position of the blaugelb Brush Seal.
